Really delicious and fresh sushi ! My friend took me here to try sushi for the first time and I loved it ! I got the toy story rolls with tuna,smoked salmon,avocado and shrimp as well as green tea rice with baked salmon. Everything was perfect and so fresh ! A little on the pricier side but oh so worth it !
Our "go to" sushi restaurant for special occasions and casual lunch with friends. Freshness and taste of the sushi are just amazing! Very friendly and attentive staff. Rei is exceptionally welcoming and helpful. Our new absolute favorite is "Baked Salmon Roll", just melts in your mouth! Highly recommend Gozen Sushi Bar Izakaya!
We had a wonderful dinner. The atmosphere was wonderful and the sushi was plated beautifully and fresh. Will definitely be back.
We had a great meal at Gozen. Service was a little slow to start but once the food started to come out it was well worth it. Fresh sushi in all the rolls we had and the table side torching of the eel roll was very cool to watch. Pink beer is worth trying as well. The gyoza and won ton soup were also very tasty. Definitely worth a visit if you are in the area and are hungry!
I won't stop saying, how fresh and tasty their fish is. Buttery salmon and tuna sashimi almost melt in your mouth, so fresh it almost has a sweet taste to it. I celebrate all special occasions here, and when feeling particularly blissful, join in for lunch or dinner with my favourite book. Birthdays, graduation, everything was celebrated here. It's my happy place!!
We sat at the sushi bar last night and it was great. Tony, the chef, made us a beautiful sashimi plate and the fish was delicious. Just passing through town otherwise we’d go back and try more
Sushi were fresh, especially with Scallops and Mackerel and service was flawless. One of the rolls was called Crazy boy. Scallop carpaccio was a piece of art, bright, happy and delish. Everthing we had was yummy.
The incredibly kind staff helped me pick out a few items that we could take away in time to catch our ferry. The sushi was so fresh and tasty. Kudos to the kind and accommodating humans who work here.
